I heart the 80's

So me and my friends started a project called"I heart the 80's " (almost) everyday we draw something from the 80's until every one of us reaches 30 drawings. I'm at number 16 right now but I post them on my tumblr.

I sketched these today at work and colored them when I got home.
Weird enough, it was cloudy and rainy all day today.

So this started out as an aimless doodle then I decided that maybe she's sister of Yun and Yang from Street Fighter. But about when I was done with the painting I saw  a comic strip featuring Yun, Yang and a girl that's wearing clothes that almost identical to what I painted.

Knights and enemies

So recently, a friend of mine asked if I could do some concept designs for his game pitch. These were what I came up with. My time was limited so these are  quite rough. But the designs were liked which makes me very happy.

Desert night

I started this with an intention of drawing a vampire but the music I was listening led the painting to this instead.

Ginny and Hedwig?

I don't know ... could be... maybe Harry was sending secret letters to Ginny with Hedwig at one point.

Still not finished but this is how it looks before I hit the sack.

So tonight I started on a new painting and this is how it looks like. I'll continue tomorrow but now ti's time to go to bed ! 

Done while listening to a playlist consisting of  tracks from Harry Potter soundtracks, Sigur Ros and "Still Alive"
(Portal) on replay for about 15 times

So today when I woke I kinda did the same face in the mirror and realized that the neck in this painting was totally wrong. So I tried to fix as much as in 15 minutes. But gotta go get ready for work now. So hopefully I'll finish fixing it tonight.

So today I felt like sketching some characters and this is what came out of it. I might do another one of these tomorrow.

Happy birthday Daddy!

Something I did tonight for my Dad's birthday! I am going to work on it a little more tomorrow.  It's supposed to be an Akita Inu puppy.  I also made it with Japan in my mind, Akita Inu is one of Japan's national dog breed. I was lucky enough to have two Akita Inus growing up. Well anyway... Stay Strong Japan!

Freelance work

I did these two paintings in late November if I remember correctly. I was provided with the concept art and was required to clean them up and add details so that they can be used as loading screens for a Facebook RPG called Kogamu by Playdom. I was never told who the artist was that made these concept art but all I know is that he/she or they were working with  Reinvented Inc. .
